@LauraLoomer Jon Hansen is the one you should be supporting!! I live close to Aberdeen where Toby is from. He is considered the slum lord of Aberdeen. He hikes up rental rates on homes, duplex's, and apartment buildings while doing next to no upkeep. He is no conservative and only cares about one thing....making himself rich.

Hi Alex, I'm a 5th generation farmer who grows corn, soybeans, wheat, raise cattle, and sell homegrown beef. Can I ask what foods you are concerned about that we farmers are being blamed with "dousing" with roundup? Like you, I want the safest food for my family as well. I also use the best science available to be able to make decisions on my farm. What concerns me is that farmers are put under the umbrella of "big ag" and are left out of any dialog.

@TheAmerican_Mom Hey momma bear! One thing you might not be aware of is many times, that fresh beef at the butcher is just regular box beef they buy from the big packers. Nothing is wrong with frozen beef. In fact, almost all beef you get from a family farm is frozen per USDA rules.

The typical cattle cycle is 10 years historically if memory serves me right. Each cycle restarts when cow inventory starts to increase again. I feel this is being hampered by a lot of factors including drought in the south, high interest rates, high cost to retain a heifer, reduction of pasture, and fewer people willing to put in the work of maintaining a cow herd. I would hate to see how much I actually make per hr when everything is said and done even at these prices 😳
