@rimom5@MyOutlanderPurg It’s been awhile since I’ve read the series, but I do recollect one of the twins cutting his thumb to remove the brand so no one would be able to tell one from the other.
@WillPutnam I understand your reasoning, but, at least with newly self-published authors, sometimes exposure is needed more than the money, to get their name and book out there - and to get those all-important reviews. It’s sometimes necessary, but only on a temporary basis.
@Adam_K__ So true. This is why I will never understand self-published authors who will give away their work for free. Isn't it worth *something* after all the time, effort, passion and tears you've put into it?
I had no idea this was such a common nightmare! I can’t remember my combination & am late to class ... can’t find my classroom ... walk into classroom 10 minutes late. Wonder if it means something. Maybe just a stress dream?
This! And yet I can’t tell you how many times a reader has tried to post reviews of my books only to be rejected—because they haven’t spent enough money on Amazon to qualify! This is counter- productive and patently unfair to indie authors! https://t.co/br7b8xGbcX #BookReview
@TheRillDill_ A time travel story set during the American Civil War. 21st century historian meets a “bushwhacker” wanted by the law. There might even be a little romance involved. 😉 https://t.co/WNGdxUIhZB
@keaton_thomas@AmericanAir Just a little common sense could have prevented much of the trauma to these kids — someone in authority to ensure such kids get a proper meal or a doctor to monitor their medical needs! All airlines should have a designated advocate on call to speak for kids in such a situation!
