Just trade the asset on your platform? we are decentralized and therefore nobody can stop you by doing so? Am i wrong?

We either stop traiding stolen assets, punishing the thief. Or we gonna ignore this and trade with stolen assets, rewarding future thiefs.. am i wrong?
