@jzellis I never saw this in its entirety, but only clips until now. But the piece you wrote has stayed with me for years and was the impetus for the volunteer work I did in my state when I was younger. I'm sure I'm not the only one affected that way. Your life has been far from wasted.
@BrettFavre Who in their right mind would believe a person who stole millions from charities (& continually lied about it) for an ego-driven vanity project?
And now you're whining about something that you faced consequences for, *how long ago* just to assuage your bloated ego!?
At Karnak, archaeologists discovered a fragment of a colossal hand adorned with the royal cartouche of King Amenhotep III. This artefact hints at the existence of a monumental statue standing dozens of yards high, reflecting the immense power & authority of his reign.
Compling a list of great Palaeolithic and Quaternary people you can follow on the other place.
It's nice, less trolls, lots of engagement. It's actually fun. Like here used to be. 🦣💙
@GodndgunsReal@koolwolfpup@Michell33650674 Tell us you failed Middle School Civics and US Government, Blossom without telling us, etc. If you'd paid attention, you'd know recounts don't equal cheating. They've been done for hundreds of elections. It's only been deemed "cheating" since Cantaloupe Caligula lied about 2020😘
This reads and feels like actual extortion -Blance’s letter reads in part —especially given Trump’s previous “states rights” stances
“Immediate dismissal of this case is mandated by the federal Constitution, the Presidential Transition Act of 1963, and the interests of justice, in order to facilitate the orderly transition of executive power following President Trump’s overwhelming victory in the 2024 presidential election,”

@Margaretstanef1 Wow, that sounds like so much fun! I can never look at any finds from the past without thinking of the people who touched them. If there's one thing I've learned from all this, it's that times change, but people don't.
@Margaretstanef1 The area they were in had been inhabited by a Native American tribe that had been local to our area hundreds of years ago. The bone was sent to the state forensic lab & they eventually said that the bone was at least 400-600 years old.
@keenanls Yikes that's serious stuff! Given the description of your accident, I'm not surprised you can't lift your arm. I'm surprised you can even move! Try to take it easy, ok?
@blunzr1966 Lol I'm a bit of a history nerd, so yeah, I knew that. I've been to lectures on women's clothing from different eras & seen demonstrations of what it took to actually get dressed. One of these included a wimple. How decorative they were depended on her station in life.
@Margaretstanef1 Yeah, from what I understand, that's the protocol after finding human remains anywhere-I know it is here in the UK. The same thing happened to my sister in the 80s. Class trip to a riverbank 3 blocks from my folk's house. They found arrowheads & animal bones...& a human femur.
@Margaretstanef1 Did the coins get dated? It sounds like a really interesting site...the coins might be a way to trace the events that occurred there. Murder & mayhem? Or a natural death? I love a historical mystery.
@Margaretstanef1 Lmao. I did fine without the blow dryer...O just threw my hair in a braid. That sounds so cool...something I've always wanted to do. I was talking about going on an archaeology dig...a few of my friends here in the UK are archaeologists. One of them invited me to her dig.
@Margaretstanef1 It's as if a weight's been lifted off your chest right? Suddenly breathing's easier so you can turn your mind to things that interest you, rather than on digital self-defense.
@keenanls Good grief you have nothing to apologise for! I do stuff like this all the time, without having as good a reason for forgetting. Do you have something for the pain?
