Civil asset forfeiture is legalized theft.

The Trump administration took it to new heights with “adoptive” forfeiture, an executive policy allowing federal officials to steal property from law-abiding persons in states that have banned civil asset forfeiture.

Biden didn’t lift a finger to reverse the policy despite repeated assurances from people on Twitter/X that he just needed more time. It was always obvious he had no interest in righting this wrong.

Expect at least four more years of this abhorrent policy.
