@nihal_io@BurkeBlack Larp? That makes no sense considering I was there when the story was told years ago. Back when people actually made good games and not garbage.
You know how intense it would be if the game had to remember every single detail of damage on the suit. Most modern games don’t even do cutscenes like old games did where outside choices effected to look of things. That’s what was given up when people wanted better graphics even though everything peaked in 2015.
It’s not controlled by the retail store most the time but instead done by the company of the product.
It’s actually a good practice. If they stop selling it the retailer gets the notice. That puts it through to signal to the stores to pull the product. They send it back and can even get a small reimbursement sometimes. If they fail to do so the retailer takes the hit and can even be from both ends. Not just a loss on the product but a fine from the company of the product. It keeps accountability and produces honest sellers.
Thing is most retailers have safeguards in place like Best Buy or Target where they deactivate the sku so it can’t be bought even at self checkouts. Home Depot seems to run on an antiquated system.
