@surf4children Do you think this is true with every viral outbreak or is it unique to COVID? Meaning, when there is an RSV or influenza surge, does this have the same effect? Might suggest generic immune activation versus a unique SARS-CoV2 effect

[BACON_Study @BaconStudy]

Also, we still have agenda space and would love to hear your research ideas, proposals, and updates.

@surf4children Since essentially all of the transmission was from animals, if you aren’t spending a lot of time on chicken farms, you’ll probably be good.

[BACON_Study @BaconStudy]

@palisi_bacon @PALISInet Just a reminder that the next @PALISInet @palisi_bacon webinar is coming up in just over a week. If you are on our mailing list, you should have gotten an email today. If you are interested and didn't get an e-mail, let me know. #PedsICU

[BACON_Study @BaconStudy]

@giocastellucci Interesting. Given prior (adult) ICU studies suggesting that 48 hours cEEG may still only identify 90% of those whose unexplained encephalopathy was from seizures, do you think that their median cEEG time was actually adequate in this study?

[BACON_Study @BaconStudy]

@Con_All @PALISInet Thanks, Conall. Guess I got sabotaged by auto-complete with the tag.

Mark your calendars!
