What bothers me about pro athletes is that a person like Abdul Carter will negatively comment on Jaxson Dart introducing Donald Trump (an action that is not illegal or breaking league rules), but these same athletes are silent when teammates and other athletes in their respective leagues kill people when driving recklessly or beat the dogshit out of their wives and girlfriends. THIS was the straw that broke the camel’s back?
My personal belief is that athletes and celebrities should keep political and religious views private while they are active in their profession. Not because they are wrong to be passionate, but I watch sports and movies to tune out from real world bullshit for a few hours.
The locker room is a sacred place because it brings together everyone from all walks of life and beliefs for one common goal.
Calling a teammate out publicly for his political views and to get attention is nasty work.
@billbarnwell Ol Barnwell could have just waited and hour to post about the situation and come out of it with a tweet that won’t age horribly in a year.
Can someone do a breakdown of Wrestlemania’s total entrance times vs actual match times once this slog is over? @WrestleOps@WrestleFeatures (Inclusive of Cena, Bianca, McAfee)
CM Punk with the 10 Things I Hate About Uce promo. All the segments for this Wrestlemania match with Roman Reigns have felt like electric guitar solos; tonight it felt like they stripped it back to acoustic. Good stuff.
@MYOHMYCards I feel like its peak would have been if it had been pulled in the first few weeks of release, but 2nd highest level is definitely HOF. Hold!
Kevin Gausman uses the same set and delivery on every pitch.
This isn’t even close to a balk. John Schneider was already holding A LOT in and he let it fly - that was an intense shouting match.
Unbelievable ump show. What else is new. #BlueJays50
Geno was a sore loser. Fudd was a dudd. The refs were not good, but bad officiating isn’t why UCONN lost. Geno’s frustrations aren’t unfounded though, Dawn Staley is the SGA of coaches. Time to move on to next season.
Trade: the Raiders are sending QB Geno Smith and a 2026 7th-round pick to the New York Jets in exchange for a 2026 6th-round pick, per ESPN sources. Smith returns to the team for which he started his NFL career for in 2013.
