Fingers crossed I can finally get to visit #Bacup soon! Much is happening there in 2024 - and I'd love to see if there's any magic I can work to help get that lovely but forlorn old Woolies back into active use. https://t.co/o2iXDeY6FJ

It's really upsetting the continued vandalised at Hempstead Memorial Garden & Cenotaph. After constant destruction the lights for the Cenotaph have been removed, temporarily capped & will be replaced with recessed lights. Now the light for the Memorial stone is being targeted ๐ช
Dr Lee, sent up from London to witness first hand the poverty of the residents of Garden Street and the other club houses. On Garden St a chap called Clegg kept pigs in his back yard!
The โ is shining (thank goodness!) as today is the day of our much anticipated second 'Poverty to Progress' walk delivered by Kathy Fishwick of @RossendaleCT in partnership with @valley_heritage Can't wait ๐
