My friend and I had an interesting conversation at Bible Study with regards to Trump. We both agreed that it was not in our best interest to vocalize our opinions about Trump for fear of back-lash. That's a really sad statement about the church today and its love for Trump.

@costiwhinn @Pastor_Gabe Sorry John, you're the victim of a bad translation of Gen. 4:7. The "sin" is actually a "sin offering", a male lamb or goat, reclining peacefully at the entryway to God's presence. Desire means "turning towards"--a sign of submission, like flock turn toward a shepherd.

What's the message of I Cor. 11? -- Women are also in the image of God and they also have their own authority bestowed on them by God.

If Paul uses "creation order" or enforce short hair on men because of cultural norms, it explains why he also uses this argument to support women not teaching simply to abide by cultural norms, not God's law.
7. The Hebrew word for "mantle" also means "glory". Must be related.
