Logo concept for Elphinstone Community College! A simple form that incorporates the outline of Mt. Elphinstone, tying in the geography of the region into the branding.
The outline becomes a repeatable motif for a range of uses.

Focusing too much on how things βshouldβ be will literally ruin your life. You gotta at least see things for what they ARE so you can change accordingly.
I ended up going back and sprucing up the thumbnail a bit. Added a shadow on the text to help the mic pop more and added grain to the background with a subtle orange gradient to help fill in the bottom section.

Working on a video and noticed yet again a shift from what I see in the Premiere Pro sequence panel vs final export.
Shadows are lifted and warmer tone saturation is shifted (cool tones seem fine). I have to compensate in-project because I know the output won't match.
Now that I'm back from my trip to Halifax, I'm excited to start editing all the photos I took!
