This morning, our okada rider stopped behind a bus even though there was space to pass. I asked why he didn’t move. Suddenly, a man came out of the bus with a cutlass. The woman behind me started crying, and I saw scary things inside the bus.
This video was recorded at the request of my boss, who has expressed strong concerns about Hausa commercial motorcycle (okada) operators in the state.

In the early hours of today, bandits invaded the Bunu District in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State. They attempted to abduct students scheduled to sit for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
However, they were confronted by military personnel, local vigilantes, hunters and other security operatives, leading to a gun battle.
Three people were killed during the attack: Mr. Ganiyu Anifowose, the Vice Principal of UBE Secondary/Primary School, Iluke, Mr. Sunday, aged 70 and a six-year-old boy, Sunday Ayele.
This are the two real brothers of Bello Turji. They are ruthless and have been terrorizing the peace loving people in Sokoto and Zamfara.
They will soon meet their Waterloo
🔥 IS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN SUPPORT OF THIS? OR ARE WE SITTING ON ANOTHER KEG OF GUNPOWDER? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
As a serving soldier who puts my life on the line daily for this country, I’m deeply concerned by what I’m seeing.
This is the female wing of Royal Fouche Private Security, also known as the "Amama Soldiers," owned by King Asari Dokubo. They are undergoing an intensive training session. Take a close look at the assault weapons in the hands of a private citizen all in the name of a private security company.
Let me be clear: no private individual or security network is legally permitted to possess automatic rifles in Nigeria. Or have we quietly slipped into a state of anarchy?
Even state governments cannot arm their own state‑backed security networks without the express approval of the National Security Adviser. Yet here we have a private citizen parading armed personnel with automatic weapons as if there is no law.
This is dangerous. Not just for the communities where these forces operate, but for the entire nation. When private armies are legitimised, the state loses its monopoly on force. That is not security. That is the path to chaos.
The Federal Government must come out clearly. Is this activity approved? If yes, under what authority? If not, why are these heavily armed groups operating with impunity?
We cannot afford to sit on another keg of gunpowder while pretending everything is normal.
🇳🇬🇳🇬GOD BLESS NIGERIA 🇳🇬🇳🇬
I dont know this man, but I can attest to the fact that if he doesn't pay his fees being in our second semester he wont be allowed to sit for any exams...his name wont be registered and he has to come back * extra semester*
May God help US all!
Good evening everyone. I’m appealing for financial assistance towards my school fees. My final exams begin in 2 days, and payment must be completed before I can sit for them.
My parents who have always handled my fees, are currently facing an unexpected financial crisis, making..
Pte Douglas, was the kind of soldier whose laughter could brighten even the darkest camp nights. In the dusty barracks outside Maiduguri, his fellow soldiers often teased him for carrying a worn photograph everywhere he went.
The photo was simple, his elderly mother sitting on a wooden chair, smiling despite years of hardship.
“Douglas,” his friends would joke, “if bullets miss you, this photo will still protect you.”
He would smile and reply softly, “I promised Mama I’d come back alive. That promise is stronger than fear.”
Douglas had lost his father at a young age. Since then, life became a battlefield long before he wore the uniform. He farmed during the day, carried loads in the market at night, and sacrificed his dreams so his younger siblings could attend school.
Joining the military was not about glory for him.
It was survival.
Every month, most of his salary went home. He would call his mother and say:
“Mama, endure a little longer… one day you will rest.”
One cold evening, Douglas and his unit received orders for a dangerous operation deep inside hostile territory. Intelligence reports warned of armed insurgents hiding near abandoned villages.
Before departure, Douglas sat quietly outside the barracks, staring at the moon.
One of his closest friends asked, “You look worried.”
Douglas forced a smile.
“Not worried… just tired. I miss home.”
Then he added words no one would forget:
“If anything happens to me, tell Mama I kept my promise… I fought with honor.”
The convoy moved before dawn.
The road was silent.
Too silent.
Halfway through the mission, gunfire suddenly erupted from multiple directions.
An ambush.
Bullets tore through the air as soldiers scrambled for cover. Dust swallowed the battlefield. Explosions shook the ground.
Douglas fought bravely beside his team, helping wounded comrades reach safety.
Then he heard a cry.
A young soldier had been hit and was trapped behind a damaged vehicle.
Without hesitation, Douglas ran toward him.
His friends shouted: Douglas! Stay back!”But he kept moving.
Under heavy fire, he reached the wounded soldier and dragged him toward cover. Just as they neared safety, a deafening blast erupted nearby.
The battlefield went silent for Douglas.
When the smoke cleared, the rescued soldier was alive…
But Douglas lay motionless on the blood-stained earth.
His hands still gripped the uniform of the man he had saved.
Back at the camp, no one spoke during the journey home.
Only silence.
And grief.
Days later, officers visited Douglas’ village.
His mother saw the military vehicle approaching and her hands began to tremble.
Deep down…
She already knew.
When they handed her his folded uniform and personal belongings, she searched desperately for his voice, his smile… just anything to show he's alive.
Then she found the old photograph he always carried.
Behind it, Douglas had written:
“Mama, if I return, we will celebrate. If I don’t… know that your son died trying to protect others.”
The old woman collapsed in tears, holding the photo to her chest, screaming ontop or her voice "Douglass no, please, don't do this to me"!
The house Douglas had hoped to build for her remained unfinished.
His dreams remained unfinished.
But the soldier he saved survived, returned home, and now tells Douglas’ story wherever he goes.
Because sometimes the bravest hearts are the ones carrying the heaviest pain.
And though Douglas never made it home…
His sacrifice did. 💔
Rest in peace soldier, it breaks our heart to post you this early.
17th May shall never be forgotten Rest in Power BROTHER✊
It's well!
