Wrapping up the Oklava build! Cut to length, rounded the edges, and brought the grain to life. Used Doctor's Woodshop high friction polish on the main body for a glass-smooth feel and sealed the ends with hardwax oil to lock out moisture.

Applying Doctor's Woodshop High Build Friction Polish to this purpleheart and maple Turkish rolling pin! The trick is getting the lathe speed up so the heat cures it for that perfect glossy finish.

Making a custom Turkish rolling pin (oklava) out of Purple Heart, Cherry, Curly Maple, and Walnut! Gluing it up, milling it flat and square, and spindle turning it on the lathe. Nothing beats seeing these natural colors pop.
