On World Day Against Child Labour, it is deeply concerning throughout the country specifically Sindh, children are still forced into labour due to poverty, lack of effective enforcement, and weak social protection systems. This is not only a social failure but also a reflection of governance priorities that have not adequately protected the most vulnerable.

In a land as rich in culture and resources as Sindh, no child should be deprived of education and dignity. Strengthening public education, enforcing labour laws, and ensuring economic justice are essential to ending this exploitation. A society that fails its children cannot claim to be just or progressive.

حکومت مسلسل پٹرول اور ڈیزل کی قیمت میں اضافہ کررہی ہے۔ آج پھر 15 ، 15 روپے فی لیٹر بڑھادیے۔ حکومت نے پٹرول کو کمائی کا ذریعہ بنایا ہوا ہے۔ عالمی مارکیٹ کا نام لیتے ہیں اور بھاری لیوی وصول کررہے ہیں جس کا پٹرولیم کی قیمت سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔اہم بات یہ ہے عالمی مارکیٹ میں چند دنوں میں تقریباً 8 ڈالر قیمت کم ہوئی ہے۔ اس وقت بھی فی لیٹر 150 روپے سے زائد ٹیکسز و لیوی وصول کی جارہی ہے۔ طالب علم، بائیکیا اور اِن ڈرائیو چلانے والے، مزدور، عام غریب اور مڈل کلاس شہری یہ لیوی ادا کررہے ہیں جو بہت بڑا ظلم ہے۔ دوسری طرف حکمران طبقے کی شاہ خرچیاں، مراعات، اربوں روپے کے جہاز، پروٹوکول سب اسی طرح جاری ہیں۔ یہ دوہرا اور طبقاتی نظام زیادہ عرصے نہیں چل سکتا۔
