Me before the stock market: Work, sleep, party, repeat. World could be falling apart and I wouldn’t care
Me after entering the stock market: Anything happens in any corner of the country and suddenly it feels like a personal attack on my portfolio 😔
When I said Kannadigas need to climb the corporate ladder and support their own people, I never meant throwing outsiders out of Bengaluru , please don't get confused. Bengaluru is a massive city with businesses worth lakhs crores and both locals and outsiders contribute to its growth through IT, businesses, real estate and countless other sectors. The goal is empowerment for Kannadigas, not exclusion of others. Bengaluru grows when we grow together.
@Raana_Yash We had big potential stars Like Vishnu Vardhan, Ravi Chandra , Shivaraj Kumar but most or these guys big hits have been remakes and inconsistent and lack of growing big
My dear Kannadigas, it’s high time you climb the corporate ladder and reach leadership positions and gain the authority to hire and uplift our own people. Support each other and grow together or risk losing our place in our own state 💛❤️
@anilkr75 First of all they don't get to see our content Good movies like Garuda Gamana, Max, Kaatera , Vikrant Rona are in Zee . Who has Zee subscription bro
Kannada films need to get pirated just like Telugu and Tamil films. This might piss off filmmakers and Kannada audiences but hear me out. We need wider overseas releases because that's where pirated copies often originate and spread. OTT platforms aren't interested enough and audiences outside Karnataka have limited access to our films. Look at Premada Oorali if it had reached piracy websites audiences in other states might have watched and appreciated it. Most Kannadigas discovered Telugu and Tamil cinema through pirated copies too. Piracy isn't the solution but our cinema needs exposure beyond Karnataka and right now the legal distribution system isn't doing enough 🤷♂️
For example Premada Oorali has massive hype but people outside Karnataka have no way to experience it in theatres. By the time it arrives on OTT the hype and curiosity might be gone. This generation runs on trends everyone wants to join the conversation while something is trending but once the trend fades, nobody cares anymore.
@manikantar83639 Rajkumar and kashinath agree but other they are not consistent and serious about their work. Upendra and Sudeep has been remakes a lot and they don't have any original hit which makes the difference
Controversial - Kannada Film industry is largely to be blamed for Kannada losing ground among the youth. When our industry choked on remakes in the late 90s& 2000s, people naturally tuned out and Consumed Other language content. We had zero counter content to offer. Movies Discussions dominate schools, college & corporates talks . When our peers brought up Their language cinema, we had no response we just accepted it, watched their movies and learned their languages to fit in. Cinema isn't just entertainment it’s linguistic soft power and KFI surrendered ours

10 years back without OTT and Jio how do you think people used to watch there films ? And making them accessible but not free rite and why will they watch as they have enough content from their own industry. First you have to build the fan base. Most of the good kannada films are sold to zee and who then he'll has Zee subscription ?

@QuietlyNaviz Other Actor who made remakes . Rajkumar was the saviour without him kannada industry would not be 10% of what it's now and their sons are useless bro to be honest
Seen many people say Darshan has too many flops and controversies but despite everything his cult fanbase keeps growing.
The reason is his movies and the way he portrays his characters. Even when a movie doesn't work, his characterization often remains likable and memorable. He knows how to make his films feel grand with powerful moments that fans celebrate in theatres and among those films, every once in a while he delivers a massive blockbuster and gives a comeback and reminds everyone why his stardom is on another level.
You can criticize his films, question his choices, or talk about his controversies but the connection he has built with his fans over the years is something else.
