Hayden Panettiere passed away Sunday at the age of 36, known for her roles in Remember The Titans & Heroes

Michelle Trachtenberg passed away in February of 2025 at the age of 39 known for her roles on Buffy The Vampire Slayer & Harriet The Spy

Daveigh Chase passed away earlier this year in June at the age of 35 known for her roles in Lilo & Stitch and The Ring

Two Ice Princess stars, both gone far too young 🕊️

Michelle Trachtenberg and Hayden Panettiere once shared the screen as two young stars of Disney’s Ice Princess. Today, both are gone far too soon.

In the 2005 film, Michelle portrayed aspiring figure skater Casey Carlyle, while Hayden played Gen Harwood, her talented rival who eventually became an important friend. Their pairing became part of a movie remembered fondly by many who grew up during that era of Disney films.

But Ice Princess was only one chapter in two remarkable careers. Michelle was beloved for Harriet the Spy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Gossip Girl, while Hayden became known for Heroes, Nashville, Scream, Kingdom Hearts, and Until Dawn.

Michelle passed away in 2025 at only 39. Hayden followed in 2026 at just 36.

Two actresses who once stood together in a beloved childhood film, both leaving behind memories that reach far beyond it. Rest in peace, Michelle and Hayden. ❤️
