@0xDesigner Any contest on designing the worst possible user experience will become a two-party contest between EMR developers and the ones who design the trading interfaces for brokerage firms.
Would someone smarter than I please care to explain to me why a company with positive EPS (even if EPS is below estimate) should be trading at ~0.4 price-to-book?
@realEstateTrent Madison, WI or Rochester, NY.
Yes, I'm 100% serious! I loved living in both of these cities and would love to move back to either with a transformative amount of capital available to invest. $1B would be more transformative in Rochester, but my heart's in WI.
@investor2055 And? How much does the product matter when discussing something that is trading at less than half of book value? I can't see how this can be about the trajectory of their income statements. The market seems to be doubting the veracity of asset values shown on the balance sheet.
@eninvs_com Positive earnings yet incredibly low price to book. Is the outlook for this company really that bleak? Rolll-to-roll manufacturing is growing globally, and this company has the expertise to be a major player. Specialty chemicals is huge, and they have assets. Why so bearish?
@CAVandy • But don't short-sell what the Fed is buying.
• You can't short-squeeze the dollar; the Fed can and WILL print enough to prevent a squeeze on dollars—but if you short what the Fed is buying, you CAN get squeezed
• The Fed can stay liquid longer than you can stay solvent
@CAVandy • Define bid/ask spread
• There are 2 sides to every trade
• There are 2 sides of every asset. One party's asset is always another party's liability (e.g. the government's debt is an asset to whoever owns the bond)
• Buy what the Fed is selling; sell what the Fed is buying
@mvicks21@StoffelMatt@DanFiel40988546@Kodak@NBCNightlyNews No clue if they do have any plans to go in that direction, but it seams like an area with TONS of growth potential where they already have enormous expertise in producing and coating continuous substrates.
@mvicks21@StoffelMatt@DanFiel40988546@Kodak@NBCNightlyNews I wouldn't want to rely on outside vendors whose process I have no control over. Seems to me, *if* Kodak potentially has any plans to get into coatings for flexible/wearable electronics, they'd want to get into producing the substrates too.
