Yesterday, the nation's young came out in Delhi to peacefully protest. They came with love in their hearts, not hatred or anger. They were beaten, both by cops and BJP goons.

This is not the India we want.

Tomorrow, we will march to the Supreme Court as Indians, united beyond party, gender, caste, community and state.

Youth, all opposition parties, civil society groups, all those who believe in democracy and stand by the Constitution of India, will walk with us.

We will submit a memorandum to the Chief Justice on behalf of the nation, demanding an end to vote chori, halting of SIR and the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar.

Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Ajit Doval and Mohan Bhagwat cannot silence India's voice. These cowards cannot intimidate us. They will have to step aside.

We will march together, with love, brotherhood and patriotism.

Daro mat.

Tomorrow, all of India will march to the Supreme Court.

हम देश की ओर से मुख्य न्यायाधीश को एक ज्ञापन सौंपेंगे। हमारी माँग है - वोट चोरी बंद हो, SIR पर रोक लगे और ज्ञानेश कुमार इस्तीफ़ा दें।

नरेंद्र मोदी, अमित शाह, अजित डोभाल और मोहन भागवत भारत की आवाज़ को दबा नहीं सकते। ये कायर हमें डरा नहीं सकते। इन्हें पीछे हटना ही होगा।
हम सब साथ चलेंगे - मोहब्बत, भाईचारे और देशभक्ति के साथ।

We will continue our fight. Tomorrow, we are also going to meet the Chief Justice of India. I have written a letter, and Shri @RahulGandhi has also written a letter.

We have scheduled a meeting between 4 and 5 PM, during which we will apprise him of the situation. We cannot demand anything from him, but we will place our concerns before him with folded hands and request his intervention.

The Prime Minister and the Home Minister have created chaos across the country. An undeclared Emergency is prevailing, and we will continue to fight against it.

Yesterday, nearly 32,000 police personnel and 7,500 CRPF personnel were deployed. This itself shows how much fear the government has of the youth agitation.

As I have already stated, roads were blocked, communication channels were disrupted, access to the airport was restricted, and mobile networks were shut down. All this demonstrates that the government does not want democracy to function peacefully in India.

We will continue our fight to protect democracy and the constitutional rights of the people.

Finally, after Rahul Gandhi ji himself protested for hours demanding an FIR for Sahil’s pellet injuries - the Delhi police was compelled to register an FIR.

This should have been a straightforward case, since a cognisable offence took place. Yet, the Delhi Police under Amit Shah’s instructions dragged its feet.

Eventually, when public pressure mounted - arrogance was defeated. It is a shame that basic Constitutional rights are denied by default, and granted only as a favour when massive pressure is applied.

Statement of the Indian National Congress on Chinese incursions along the LAC

Reports that China has denied India access to historically Indian patrolling points along the LAC in Taksing, Arunachal Pradesh are deeply concerning. This follows repeated signs of Chinese encroachment, including the construction of 628 Xiaokang villages along India’s borders.

The Government of India must unequivocally defend India’s territorial integrity and strategic autonomy. The Prime Minister must address the nation, constitute an all-party delegation to assess the situation on the ground, and raise the matter directly with President Xi Jinping.

India’s national security and territorial sovereignty must take precedence over political posturing and performative diplomacy.

India will remember how the BJP government responded to students demanding a transparent, credible and accountable examination system. Tear gas, pellet shells, lathis, metro station closures, intimidation, and even action against those who served food and humanitarian assistance to protesting students became the government’s response to democratic dissent. The Union Education Minister has resigned, but the BJP’s examination system failed India’s students, and the attempt to silence their voices will not be forgotten by the people of India.
