Due to weather issues they have moved their Southmead community soap opera indoors to the Greenway Centre, Doncaster Road, Southmead & will have 1 performance only at 2.30pm on Sat 18th May.

Will we see you this Saturday? Friends of Badock's Wood is a constituted Community Group, so we need to hold an Annual General Meeting at which our financial spending and accounting can be scrutinised and we can report on the past year's work and future plans.

It would be great if you can stay for the whole thing, but if not it will start with a short presentation of the past year's work, followed by the Treasurer's Report and approval of the annual accounts. There will be the election of the 4 main committee members.

Conservation Work Party
Saturday 13th January at 10.30 a.m.
Meet at the Lakewood Road entrance
This month the plan is to do some coppicing and bramble clearance from paths, and some nonnative plant removal. What we tackle will depend on the number of volunteers who arrive.

The new bench includes sculptures of important species for the wood including a depiction of a sparrowhawk (designed by local wildlife artist Nik Pollard) alongside bluebell, native woodland leaves and other beloved species of the woodland.
