Perhaps you hesitate to launch into new dreams and ambitions because you’ve been down that path before and it didn’t go well. No wonder! It’s hard to imagine putting ourselves into harm’s way, on purpose. But, what if you try again. Just some thoughts!
Who is going to win the $5,000 grand prizes? You can find out tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 12) at 4:50 p.m. Tune into Instagram (SWOSU) for our live drawing. Four SWOSU currently enrolled students will each win $5,000 as part of the university’s COVID vaccination incentive program.
Our sunsets have been spectacular lately!
The Dante’s wedding venue lit up over the weekend and our transportation manager, Henry Gonzales, snapped these photos of the perfect golden hour.

This Christmas my heart goes out to those who lost friends and family to covid-19 and are having to celebrate without their loved ones. This is a reminder of why today we celebrate alone. I want to keep families safe so that we can all be together next Christmas.
@tatedunn_ You might not die, but others will. So many people are dying. I’ve had several of my own friends’ grandparents die because of covid. It isn’t about you, it’s about protecting the vulnerable. You say you care about others but this tweet conveys the opposite.
@tatedunn_ I have an uncle who is a police officer so I get that them dying is horrible. It shouldn’t happen. But also cops shouldn’t kill anyone unnecessarily regardless of race.
@tatedunn_ Police officers chose that profession, black people didn’t choose to be black. The death of black people and police officers are both bad, sad, and wrong. But one chose a career that involves criminals and one was just born.
