@RurekyeraG@RurekyeraG, with respect, animosity is not the issue. The issue is mandate. If PACEID is advisory, why is it doing mobilization, trade hubs, financing? That creates parallel centres of power. CDF is right to ask - who authorized what?
Let State House clarify mandate
@mukulaa Very true Afande Mukula. The biggest battle is in the mind. Once the youth shift from waiting for handouts to creating value, Africa will rise. Well said ππΎ
SPIRITUAL/PURIFICATION RITES FOR OKUKINGIRA OBWIRIRANE WHICH IS MORE SERIOUS THAN OBUGUUTE, OR EMIRWA IN A KINGDOM UNDER ATTACK:
Obwirirane comes from OKWIRA-DARKNESS. OKWIRIRANA, OBWIIRE OKUTAAHA OMUBUNDI... successive nights, no DAYLIGHT...
In such cases, the SPIRITUAL CLEANSING RITES OF BATEMBUZI-BACHWEZI required EXTENSIVE AND INTENSIVE SPIRITUAL PROTOCOLS/ EMIGYENZO to cover mainly FOUR AREAS: The Whole kingdom; The Royal Court; The Queen Mother, and the New King, to banish the DEATH-SHADOW hovering over the Royal Court.
I will start with the KINGDOM:
I have already heard Kingdom officials implementing some rites/rituals like OKUJUMUKA AMACUMU, ENGOMA, etc, and ceasing intimacy in all homes of the Kingdom during this period. However, these are not enough. Because these happen even when there is no OBWIRIRANE/EMIRWA. In which case then, the BATOORO HEAD OF FAMILIES MUST SHAVE THEIR HEADS, SLAUGHTER THEIR MAIN BULL/ENGUNDU AND TAKE MILK in EKYANZI FROM A COW EZIGEIZIRE(which has produced for the 1st time) to the ROYAL COURT-EKIKAARI. These RITES are in addition to those already being observed.
THE ROYAL COURT:
All men and women must SHAVE ALL HAIRS(all!). The ROYAL FIRE; now, ORWOOTO MUST BE LIT OUTSIDE THE PALACE, OPPOSITE THE MAIN ENTRANCE. In fact, for OMUCHWEZI NDAHURA after the OBWEEME against his grandfather BUKUKU which led to half their Baranzi clansmen fleeing to KARAGWE, THE ROYAL FIRE was LIT OUTSIDE THE PALACE THROUGHOUT HIS REIGN. In the current case of Tooro, the Ekyoto/Orwoto now must be OUTSIDE THE PALACE. And when a new King is installed, the ROYAL FIRE/HEARTH, must remain OUTSIDE the PALACE; opposite the main entrance until the new Monarch and his diviners decide otherwise.
For 9 days, before the internment of the dead king, aha Gashani, or Amagasani, a WHITE BULL, WHITE GOAT AND 9 COFFEE BERRIES must be offered DAILY(for 9 days, but won't go in how&when&by who.......). There are still many others, which can't exhaust here....
The QUEEN MOTHER:
The OMUGO must SHAVE ALL HER HAIRS. Before burying her son-king, she must DISROBE/STRIP OFF all her mourning clothes and have then disposed of by a COURT DIVINER.....Then must be bathed with WATER FROM....(this is won't say here....). But must be done before she goes to Amagasani....
Henceforth, she will transition into A NYANGOMA-PURIFIED ELDER-COUNSELOR and cease being active in any kingdom affairs. There are others too, but won't say here because they could be misunderstood.....).
New KING:
This is quite extensive if the new KING was to restore his Kingdom's 'COSMOLOGICAL EQUILIBRIUM'/ OBUGWAGYE..
It involved OKUHONGA..... The new King was normally stopped from seeing the body of the deceased King. Then, there were MILK RITUALS AND FIRE LIGHTING AFER BURIAL OF THE DEPARTED KING, and cleansing exercises using specific water and HERBS(won't go into these here). But there is one profound ritual he must perform before sounding the ROYAL DRUMS. If he doesn't perform these sacred rites, there would be NO BALANCE BETWEEN THE EARTHLY REALM AND THE SPIRITUAL REALM. And this would result in great calamities and disasters.
This is thought to be the cause of the calamities which ended the BACHWEZI RULE. There are still other important rituals whch the new King was required to perform, but won't go into them here for now....
The things I have written here highlight some of the EMIGYENZO of our ANCESTORS. But with Christianity now ruling the world, many may snear at them. But it is foolish to snear at them, but still worship the institution of KINGSHIP WHICH THEY LEFT BEHIND, and which many still cherish and adore!
@MwesigyeFranks Counsel M.Ivan errored and has admitted it. He is a young Ugandan who got carried away on X.
He has learned the hard way that tribal talk has no place in our politics or region.
I appeal for forgiveness and correction, not destruction. Let him be cautioned and guided.
@UncleBillz@Mwijukyeivan@austinmich2mugi Mwijukye Ivan lesson: You can debate politics but leave tribe out. Where we call free talk in Uganda can be a serious offence across the border in Rwanda. He says he errored. Let's learn. Debate ideas, not ethnicity.
@KamazimaAine Tooro today is not just mourning, it's a succession battle.
PM says there's an heir. Omusuuga (royal clan) says there's no heir. That confusion is what people mistake for celebration.
Tooro needs elders' process, not X wars. Give them space to transition in peace.
What adds to me must add to my fellow youth and to Uganda.
If I grow alone, I have failed. Real growth is when my skill creates a job for another youth, and our jobs build Uganda.
Let's learn a skill, share a skill, and employ a skill. That's the movement.πΊπ¬πͺ#YouthBuildingUG
@SamsonMKasumba@SimonKaggwaNjal@SamsonMKasumba@SimonKaggwaNjal Samson has said it well. On culture, logic is not the same as on politics. Tooro is mourning and reorganizing, this is an emotional time. Evn if there's a qn, this is not the time to add fuel. Our Palace handles matters in . Let's give them space
@SimonKaggwaNjal@SimonKaggwaNjal. With respect there's no battle exploding. Like any institution, Tooro had qns when the new Premier came in - that's normal. But both Omusuuga & the Premier serve the same King & same culture. Our issues are handled internally as Batooro, not on X. The KD is stb
@observerug This is lazy journalism. Every week you try to pit brother against brother. First family is united. The only crack here is in your editorial credibility. Ugandans need roads, jobs, and security stories, not family gossip.
@KamazimaAine@KamazimaAine Very true. History is repeating itself. When personal ambition becomes bigger than the Kingdom, the Kingdom falls. Ankole should be a lesson to all of us in Tooro and Uganda at large. Unity first.
@BekarSebat51443@BekarSebat51443, at 50 if you still think insulting others makes you look intelligent, then who is the fool? We can disagree on Uganda's future without calling people waragi drinkers. Bring ideas, not insults.
