You really don't need to see a huge amount of sky any more. Between switching and a massive increase in the number of satellites it has improved a lot since 2022. I have had Starlink since the beta started. At first it will have issues, but once it figures out where all the obstructions are, it will get better.

Elon tried and mostly failed to reduce the gov fraud. Increasing the income of the gov by 10x or 100x will only increase the fraud, making politicians/scammers even more wealthy, while everyone else will be told they are lucky to get less than subsistence checks.

You are selling a socialist dream with no explanation of how we get from here to there other than to say that money will be everywhere and all you need to do is pick it up off the ground to be rich.

Perhaps it can work out something like that on Mars with a fresh government if they can make the AI overlord unhackable. On Earth (~400 million gov employees) or even just the US (~22M gov employees), the government is jam packed with fraudsters who are more than ready to siphon off all new funds from AI/robots. Plus all the NGOs and foreign fraudsters doing daycare/hospice/etc.

Without a plan to clean up the fraud, UHI really has no chance at success.

He rants a lot about socialism, but this sounds a lot like a socialist oligarchy. He imagines this will turn into Star Trek, but it will probably be Blade Runner
