A staff training week took place in Kalmar, Sweden, 14-16 April 2026. Two fascinating talks were delivered by Begoña Vigo, Daniel Garcia and Frederik Kowalik. The case study methodology and teaching strategies for culturally complex classrooms were presented.

On 16 March 2026, the BAGSKOL project signed a collaboration agreement with the Alfonso X El Sabio Secondary School in Murcia (https://t.co/ozYFaftvsk), with the aim of increasing our partners’ network. This secondary school, which is the third oldest school in Spain.

Our first online seminars have started. One delivered by PhD Tanguy Philippe, from Nantes University (France), and another one by PhD Mattias Lundin, from Linnaeus University (Sweden).
On January 13th our first online meeting in 2026 was held. The purpose was: To specify the tasks of the scientific committee, to organise online activities, to create teaching modules, to discuss the international conference taking place at UMU in 2027.

BAGSKOL has an interdisciplinary scientific committee helping as a reviewer of articles produced by the various teams involved in the project. It will also participate in three meetings scheduled for March, July and December 2026 to offer its guidance and valuable suggestions.
We will have an online seminar at the end of January 2026 aimed at six groups of students from different nationalities. This meeting, which will be held at the University of Zaragoza (Spain), will focus on training trainers in heteronormativity and body prejudices.
A meeting with more than 20 participants will be held at Linnéuniversitetet Kalmar (Sweden) 14-16 April 2026. Its main objective addresses controversial issues in culturally complex didactic contexts.
