Parenting
There are no very sure guarantees for anybody in this life we live but that’s what makes same life special.
It’s said, parents simply produce the body but never the heart reason same family will have diversity of individuals.
All we do as parents is invest some time in our children based on our different life experiences and we leave everything else to God.
We must teach them that every human has spiritual bit, mental and physical and all must fight to work in harmony.
And must be from a very early age otherwise, you quickly lose the power of influencing them.
I see and engage with many parents who automatically think children must understand how earning for example comes about.
The majority of children reach an age of 22 in uganda especially school going even in the well to do families without ever being told about how to earn.
The parents have only given money to the children until the age of 22 without ever explaining how that money was earned.
If you pay attention to our political class both opposition and the ruling will be talking about what they spend money on not how it will first be earned.
We shall spend money on the roads, hospitals, education etc without articulating first where that money will
Come from.
And generally writing, the population doesn’t question that mindset because our potential leaders have similar mindset to us.
I don’t only explain to them we earn our living but I get them involved as much as I can. We discuss after their work what they have learnt and done.
Like Kylan Wekesa, after hard work during @RwenzoriMarathn 2025 week, he had his birthday on 24th while filming and photographing with a Tanzanian photographer.
They went capturing sceneries until Tuesday morning, then arrived Kampala, packed his bags and headed to Cape Town( South Africa) for work same day.
Arrived home at 3am today morning and will have a day off today but on work again tomorrow. Children recover quickly after exhausting work, reason they should learn hard work early.

@Joe__Bassey It's a survival mode activation, nothing much, we need intentional industrialisation and investments that can give descent employment and lifestyle... 😏
Not through favors. Not through shortcuts. But through faith, humility, and discipline.
I was orphaned at 5. As the first-born girl, I didn’t have the luxury of being idle. The church where I sang in the choir sponsored my education until S.4. Later, God blessed me with a wonderful stepdad who supported me in S.5 and S.6 , but I never wanted to abuse that blessing by becoming a useless girl. With younger siblings looking up to me, I was determined not to be a burden to my parents.
At Taibah International School, we had a rare Work Experience Program. While most students reported where they were posted, I took the same generic letter and went to NBS TV , because I knew what I wanted. I introduced myself at reception, and that bold step opened my journey.
I started as a volunteer, working without pay, serving tea, and reporting by 6:30 a.m. sharp. The very women others called “mean and untouchable” Doreen Katusiime(RIP) and Sauba became my greatest blessing. They recommended me to the CEO. When he asked: “When would you like to start?” I replied: “I have started.”
That’s how my career began.
I lived by two rules:
1.The boss must always find me in office, and leave me in office.
2.The boss never repeats himself.
The Bible says: “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.”
Don’t despise small beginnings. Don’t assume success comes from favors. Sometimes, it’s hard work, sacrifice, and grace that open the biggest doors.
@SarahBireete@NRMOnline@KagutaMuseveni@RebeccaKadagaUG Learning to leave is as important as learning when to stay. She needs to choose the leaving with honor rather than being trodden. Life changes, even @NRMOnline will. Most of NRM long-ago cadres have failed to learn when to leave and when to stay creating entitlement. 🤔🤥

@DuncanAbigaba@RebeccaKadagaUG No doubt Hon Kadaga has served her roles well. But for the good of her health, she needs rest. She can point to anybody of her choice and for the caliber of leader she is, many would respect her choice... Retirement is not punishment, it's a honory rest deserving for good work.
We welcome all local, regional and international participants in this year's edition of the Tusker Lite, Mt Rwenzori Marathon in Kasese. It will take place on 23rd August. All security agencies have been instructed to ensure the safety and security of all.
@UgandaCranes@CAF_Online@OfficialFUFA@Educ_SportsUg@GovUganda Even at the last second never ever ever ever loose hope, you taught us this lesson, as a nation and a people to keep dreams high, focus to the last whistle and this morning 🌞 we rise with that inspiration to tackle the day with the same zeal U showed us.
