Yesterday, July 08, 2024, at Moroto LAP Clinic, our legal officers, together with the Community Based Paralegals conducted sensitization in Alerek Subcounty, Abim district. Out of 133 people that attended, 43 were male and 90 female.

EARLIER: The Uganda Law Society and the Royal Danish Embassy have entered into a partnership to launch a project titled "Enhancing the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights in Uganda." This initiative aims to enhance the provision of legal aid services in three legal aid clinics in Kabong, Moyo, and Arua. The project also aims to benefit vulnerable, marginalized, and indigent justice seekers among a population of approximately 3,900 local residents. The project and partnership highlight ULS’ commitment to advancing human rights and providing essential legal support to indigent communities in Uganda.
The Uganda Law Society therefore immensely extends appreciation to the Royal Danish Embassy in Uganda, the Governing Council and all the stakeholders and congratulates them on this milestone.
