During the ECOSOC Youth Forum, the Bahá'i International Community's delegation had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with many young people attending from around the world. Last month, BIC Intern Rohan Vodjdani sat down with one of these youth, Adam Ó Ceallaigh, Coordinator at Oileán, to explore what it can look like when youth drive change. Adam highlighted that community, and the spaces created by it, are at the heart of change, not because everyone naturally agrees but because community can bring people with different opinions together and discover unity across difference.

The @UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues opened its 25th session in April during which Indigenous representatives from every region gathered to explore the theme: "Ensuring Indigenous Peoples' health, including in the context of conflict."
Delegates from the Bahá'í International Community offered the idea that Indigenous knowledge systems aren't supplementary to humanity—they are essential to progress. From how communities organize their economies to how they educate their children, these systems enrich every level of human relations, from the local to the global.
