Hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce, this high-level forum serves as a cornerstone for the burgeoning strategic economic partnership between the United States and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The dialogue is focused on two primary pillars essential for the DRC's growth and global energy.

Critical Minerals: Securing and scaling the supply chain for minerals vital to the global energy transition.

Infrastructure Development: Building the foundational systems necessary to support industrial expansion and regional connectivity.

The roundtable features diverse corporates, ranging from healthcare and technology giants Pfizer and Cybastion to financial institutions Standard Bank and Absa. The energy and mining sectors are represented by Glencore and Mercuria, while Helios Towers leads the telecommunications category.

Both dictators continue to play outsized roles in the instability affecting the Great Lakes region - whether through territorial rhetoric, military involvement, or competition over resource-rich areas such as Ituri. These actions risk further escalating tensions and undermining regional sovereignty, security, and long-term stability.
