Earlier today, First Lady Mrs Jeannette Kagame, together with Mr Bill Gates, Founder and Chair of the Gates Foundation, joined Paul E. Farmer #ButaroDialogues on Health Equity and Innovation, hosted by @ughe_org and the @coms_africa, in partnership with the Gates Foundation.
The Butaro Dialogues is a biennial platform that brings together global health leaders, innovators, investors, policymakers, African academic institutions, and the next generation of health professionals in Rwanda to turn research and new ideas into better, more equitable healthcare.
This inaugural edition focused on one of today’s most urgent priorities: closing the gap between proven innovations and their implementation in maternal and newborn health.
