Bahrain’s Royal Guard will climb Lobuche (6119m) in Sept followed directly afterwards by Manaslu (8163m) Everest summit bid in April/May 2021.

“ROYAL BAHRAIN PEAKS”

In celebration of the Bahrain Everest Team’s visit to Nepal and the climbing of Mt Manaslu, the authorities in Samagaon have dedicated the renaming of a mountain in honor of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HH Shk Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The team have completed 7 days isolation as directed by the Nepal authorities. We have all had a Negative COVID 19 result today that will give us the all clear to depart. Climbing licenses will be picked up tomorrow and we will then take the flight to Lukla.

HH Shk Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Royal Guard Commander has presented the Bahrain Flag to the Expedition leader. The Bahrain flag will be put on top of the summit of Everest.
