Please don't erase other people as you advocate against the genocide of Palestinians, as we all should. I constantly see this during numerical comparisons that people make and how they completely erase #TigrayGenocide victims (still ongoing).
Stop erasing victims of genocide.

#Ethiopia: #Tigray opposition raises concern on IDP return process, calls for International pressure
https://t.co/MECIKCnOta
Salsay Woyane Tigray, an opposition party, claims the return of displaced Tigrayans "remains shrouded in uncertainty," citing concerns about "occupying forces" undermining the peace process. They report "millions of Tigrayans remain in dire conditions at IDP camps amidst intense rain and flooding."
Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Tadesse Worede of the interim administration reports some progress but notes "unfinished tasks" causing delays. The repatriation process has seen mixed results, with several thousand IDPs returning to various Tigrayan districts since late June 2024, despite ongoing challenges.

I am totally stoked to have my grubby mitts on @TomGardner18’s book! Tom has provided huge insights into Abiy Ahmed while covering Ethiopia for @TheEconomist and this book takes things to the next level.
Last Friday I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis "Land & Liberty: On the Natural Monopoly of Violence"! I had a fantastic day, with an excellent conversation during the defense, and a wonderful celebratory party throughout the night!
