Obviously Ferguson was better but I always respected Guardiola's ability as a manager. However the thing being ignored by most journos and pundits in that debate, the thing understood by all football fans in this country, is tat Man City cheated to get where they are and all the titles and accolades collected over the last 15+ years are illegitimate.
When the right attacks the policies of the left it is "divisive" and "hateful". When the left attacks the entire being and history of the nation, never mind the right, it is "bold" and "inspiring". I am sick to death of fleet street journos claiming what a nice guy Andy Burnham is. I don't know, will never know him, he is not my mate and from where I stand he is a gaslighting tritor who none of us voted for.
Andy Burnham:
Deindustrialization, deregulation, privatization, austerity, Brexit—and what has it given us?
A country run for vested interests, not in the public interest, with power held in too few hands and too many places left to drift.
The claim being put about that Man City fans are blameless in all this is totally false - 1) They sold out, looked the other way and have had a fine time lording it over everyone else for over a decade 2) rbf there are not many of them around but I have neve met or interacted with a single Man City fan who hasn't been obnoxious and/or underhanded, they deserve everything they get (and more since they'll get only a slap on the wrist)
No coincidence the Premier League dropped the Man City news in international break - less people locked in on football news so less outrage when the "pnishment" turns out to be a love tap.
116 charges for Man City should be death penalty stuff and they should obviously kicked out of the league and banned for a minimum of 8 years but at most you'll see a hefty fine, as small a pts deduction as they can get away with and maybe some cosmetic title stripping.
How many times does it have to be said "they did it so we are just copying themn" is the dumbest justification of bad policy possible? The way to handle it is allow "favorable" outlets more access, not kick out the ones you don't like. As always, so petty and childish. And all these guys from the President on down to Vance's DoD plants will still be exclusively calling politico and axios to gripe about the "neocons".
REPORTER: "Do you think it's appropriate for the president to be banning media outlets just because he doesn't like what they report?"
VANCE: "I take some issue with the premise... If you're going to engage in what is effectively far-left propaganda, why would a Republican White House give you special access?"
Goal was coming - every time they have the ball they go forward and we back off. Every time we have the ball we go sideways, back and get outmuscled. Absolutely zero heart #MUFC
Run Hide Fight Infidels 5/10 has its moments but suffers from a few fatal flaws most notably
- too much stormtrooper aiming and mutant healing factor
- too many characters
- too on the nose, if it were just an 8/10 rather than 15/10 on right-wingedness it would be way more tolerable
From playing numerous Jewish women on screen to painting her dearest memories with family, actress and artist Lisa Edelstein's work has been profoundly shaped by her Jewish identity.

@spectator I could be wrong but the person in the picture next to Gove does not look like a "Rory". Who will we be subjected to next week? Caroline Noakes? Jeremy "everything should be like China" Hunt? Bill Kristol?
The original sin was Moyes and van Gaal not being backed in the transfer market, I particularly go back to Vidal. So it would have to be the Glazers. But the compounding sin that dug this trench 12ft deep, I will always maintain, was hiring OGS ful-time. Fans and old bots have their fingerprints all over that one.
