What a day! A privilege, if a little surreal, to give my maiden speech in the House of Lords yesterday, with my family watching on. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way.

What a blast this years @bradfordlitfest was!

Across the festival we interviewed 50+ authors / speakers and broadcast live from the festival hub in City Park. A big thanks to the hard work of all our volunteers and staff to make it happen.

I would never take anything for granted but I hope they are annihilated on Thursday. The worst people and government we have ever had!
