Elon Musk reveals the motivation paradox inside the AI race: he needs a deliberate suspension of disbelief to keep building.

"I've put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into building the companies, and then I'm like, should I be doing this?"

And you begin to attack the entrepreneurs and the businesses that create this wealth. And that's an obvious way to undermine your civilization”
