Inside the rental Jayco van. Van is fine does most things okay (electric bed comes down over the lounge. Fittings surprisingly flimsy & a bit budget but suits our purposes. Renault engine okay but 6 speed auto box awful & jerky.

Our rented van for the trip. Deliberately went for a 2 berth to see how we might cope with a compact van (6.4M) - for this trip it’s fine but not ready to give up the Adria Matrix yet!

Two nights in the gorgeous Barossa Valley wine region. Drove through Jacob’s Creek. Strange to see grapes ready for harvest in February but it’s late summer here.

Moving towards Adelaide (distances are big & in truth after a while the journeys can be tedious (there are big tracts of ‘not a lot’ in Oz) but then, view from our rented van window, near Mt Gambier.
