@jasongribble I struggle with the idea of this because it sounds like the focus is on the show that I will put on. It’s not about me. It’s about the students. My students loved our lab on bleachers where they calculated the acceleration due to gravity. They ask if they can do it again.
@jasongribble I try to get the students talking and moving as much as possible. When their thoughts and ideas are being shared and when they are accomplishing a task using more than just their minds, the excitement and enthusiasm in the room increases.
@jasongribble A5 #rcsdmmchat I like 5 minute Fridays. I set the timer on my phone for 5 minutes. We talk about any school appropriate topic that they want, but we don’t talk about my class. No side conversations allowed.
It was one of the best of mine too, @AHS_MrBear! I can’t tell you how much I ❤️collaborating! 10 years later and this guy still makes me proud to be his teacher and now colleague!
So grateful to @ldixon2 and @RCHSPirates for allowing me to spend the day with @AHS_MrBear collaborating about physics curriculum & instruction! I can’t wait to use what we talked about! #rcsdpirates
