I’m thrilled to be stepping into a new role on the Leader’s Senior Advisory Team as the Chair of the Future of Health Care.

I’ll be working with healthcare professionals, frontline workers, academics, and everyday Albertans over the next three years to create solutions and strategies to repair the problems we face in our healthcare system.

I’ve spent my life creating evidence-based solutions to problems in our healthcare system, and I’m looking forward to taking on this role.

Racist ideas are like a contagion. They don’t just latch onto the target. They spread and latch onto everyone associated racially with the target. Racist ideas of Haitian immigrants as dangerous reinforce racist ideas about Black Americans as dangerous. Racist ideas about Black Americans as dangerous incite the everyday police brutality of Black Americans.

This alert is in effect for everyone located in Jasper and Jasper National Park.

There is a wildfire south of town. An Evacuation Order has been issued for the Town of Jasper and Jasper National Park.

Everyone in Jasper and Jasper National Park must evacuate now.
The fire is expected to reach the community in 5 hours (330 AM). Please drive safe. Use Highway 16 towards British Columbia. Follow directions from local authorities. Bring identification, important documents, medication, pets and your emergency kit with you. Check the Municipality of Jasper and Jasper National Park's Facebook page and website for more information. If you need a ride, go to the Activity Centre, Forest Park Hotel or Maligne Lodge.

That is a lot of people that this government does not care about just so Danielle Smith can fight with Ottawa. When will she start thinking about Albertans first?
