I am not trying to illicit sympathy. I really fucked up and am lucky everyone is ok. This is a cautionary tale about listening to your body, dont assume you wont actually just shut off when you've hit a point of exhaustion and it's better to communicate that to who needs to know.

I let me convince myself I was ok to watch kids tonight after being awake for 4 days. I fell asleep almost immediately, nobody told me I'd be watching more than one autistic adult but apparently they sent her friend's teenage daughter too, and NOBODY tried to wake me up. 1/

I was desperate for a good sleep and it came at the worst possible time. I'm pretty sure the teen just did my job for me, they like taking charge and overstepping me when the younger kid is around and since my landlord isn't here and her son is... I think I'm not fired/evicted.

Still haven't slept more than 7 hrs in 4 days and I really need to go to the bank because my account is locked for the most absurd reason and I need to buy some food that isn't liquid calories and bland grain or whatever a grape nut is. I should get sling but fuck it Im too tired

I knew my shoulder would hurt worse the next day but it only took about 7 hours, I just yelped when I tried to pet my cat. 😟 I need to balance myself soon the sleep dep is extremely difficult for me, it gets weird but not in the fun ways. I'm not sure I can even assess my injury

I still don't have much appetite so I went to go find something easy to eat. I heard grape nuts are ok, I also cut up a banana to put in with it. It's very bland. It made the banana taste sad. I probably won't eat grape nuts again.

I decided to go thru my landlord's donation box one last time to make sure she wasn't wasting any cool stuff for me or my friends' kids. I found a copy of my favorite ever story from my childhood, which so happens to be based around Seattle lore, Weedle on the Needle!
