Complex scenarios technical and non technical skills and knowledge, practiced in a safe environment - lots of learning and working as a team to improve cardiothoracic open chest cardiac arrest management❤️ @ResusUHCW@UhcwEducation@UHCW_CT_UNIT@mededcov
Welcome to our new Coventry CALS trainers. This day could not have happened without all the hard work from @ResusUHCW and our education faculty. Our faculty was selected to include all members of the MDT and inclusive of all cardiothoracic areas.
Our aim as a faculty has always been to set a future that values staff and boosts morale, at the heart of this is our awards ball which takes place next weekend. Staff vote for ray of sunshine, above and beyond and physio of the year.
The opening words of today have been excellence with compassion. It reminded us all why we started our pathway to specialism. We saw a need, we saw a hole and we all worked to fill it because we believed our patients deserved it. Leaving today inspired
Congratulations to Heidi Seidl, Senior Sister on the Cardio-thoracic Critical Care Unit, who is UHCW's latest DAISY honouree! Heidi received her award in a lovely ceremony today led by @BrigstockTracey - Thank you @UHCWCharity for your support!
