She is breaking right in front of us💔

This terrified baby and beautiful young #belgianmalinois peed herself when a kind volunteer tried to offer her treats. She won’t come forward, she won’t eat, she just sits trembling in the back of her kennel with eyes full of fear & a heart that looks completely shattered.😭💔💔

She has done nothing wrong! She’s simply too scared, & that’s enough for her life to be on the line. Dogs like Jewel don’t get time, they get overlooked, labeled, & killed quietly in the back room unless someone steps in!

Please, help save her🙏🏼 She needs patience, love, & a safe place to heal. Without an experienced foster & rescue, she won’t make it out alive‼️

It’s been a bad week 😫

💔 Julijana had to take Ginny urgently in Kumanovo to see Stefan (vet) because Borche (pension guy) called her to say that her belly was very bloated and hard.

They did all kinds of tests and it seems that the Heartworm (which she tested negative for last visit) has weakened her heart and it’s not functioning properly.

Stefan managed to pump out around two litres of liquid and she will stay there tonight for observation. They gave her IV and medication and want to see if the liquid will start to subside. She will also probably have to start heart medication, but we will know more tomorrow.

Ginny update:

The x-rays results were not great, there is clearly some infection on the lungs, which also showed on the bloodwork. That explains the cough. Stefan gave her antibiotics for that, which she will take for 10 days. (€86)

He looked at her heart on the ultrasound and said that the heart looks good, which was also confirmed on the additional vcheck test.

Ginny sadly also has a Transmissible venereal tumor (TVT). I can’t even imagine how uncomfortable and painful it is for her. She will need chemo for that 😞 this poor girl is such an unlucky pup.

We have been asked by Elvira Ilievska if we can raise funds for 4 outdoor houses for a group of street dogs she is taking care of. She has managed to already buy 2 but another 4 would really help get this whole group shelter as the bad weather continues to roll in.

Bruno is looking for his forever home. This sweet boy has almost finished his treatment for heartworm and if we can’t find him a home he will be released back to the streets.
