The Celebration Hub (@celebrationhb) leaderboard has been running since about the beginning of the year.
In that time more than 100 unique winners and 500 users took part, and around $1k was distributed among them โ both to people celebrating and to those who congratulated them.
Like any metric or leaderboard, it has its downsides. Last week was the last one. Time to move on.
I want to put more attention on the tipping system and how allowance is formed.
The goal is simple: people use Celebration Hub organically โ follow the feed, join events, create their own, play, celebrate together, support the project, take part in the community.
Celebration Hub is a strong piece of infrastructure. Now it can work the way it was meant to.
The leaderboard metric is current and is already being used for the tipping allowance.
