This should not be possible @Steam
Would be cool if you could finally do something about your refund policy... Got dozens of reviews like that and 21% refund rate even though the Reviews are 90% very positive...
Thats over 55,000 Refunds btw...
This guy bought Samsung’s 990 Pro 4 TB SSD when it was ~$330 and now Samsung REFUSES to replace it as the SSD now costs ~$950 due to the AI boom.
The SSD came with a 5-year warranty but started malfunctioning after just one year.
He sent Samsung evidence showing the drive was malfunctioning. Samsung rejected his claim, said it was working fine, and mailed it back to him.
When asked for a replacement, Samsung said the SSD was “out of stock” and couldn’t be replaced, offering only a refund of the original ~$330 purchase price.
The problem? The same SSD is currently IN STOCK and selling for around $950, so the refund wouldn’t even buy a replacement.
He’s now taking legal action against Samsung.
At this point, replacing the SSD would’ve probably been cheaper for Samsung than fighting the lawsuit. 😭
Speaking of all digital

This is one of the most idiotic things Americans do.
Pay your employees properly, dipshits!
It's not upon the customer to pay half of the wage via tip.
Here in Europe, we tip too - but it's a bonus for good service. Even if we don't, the servers still get paid a living wage.
Polygon has started to trash in Red Red Redemption 2 with a click-bait article, remember that some days ago the Canadian media company Valnet has introduced new contracts for freelance writers at these websites.
>Instead of receiving a payment for each article, writers will now be paid only according to the number of people who read their work.
>Under the new system, writers who publish their own articles will earn $8 for every 1,000 page views
So they will start with these articles to get clicks
NEW: 🇪🇺 The E.U. is rumored to be considering plans to protect gamers purchasing rights across Europe.
"PlayStation are setting a dangerous precedent for the future of gaming if consumers aren't protected."
@peachlover726 Hm... I don't know.
I don't play too much killer these days and I'm not a fan of tunneling, so in general I don't have a big issue with Shoulder the Burden.
It's not like the hook state goes away, it's just transfered, and the killer can now see them.
@DffDanganDBD@DeadbyDaylight I think if you have a 3-4 man SWF, there should be loadout limitations similar to the ones they have in comp (e.g. no doubles).
I have free games and I must play.

@RetiredGeralt Steam is just the default store for PC games for many, and they don't want to buy anywhere else.
Also, Steam has a better launcher, (community) features etc.
That's why people prefer it, esp. if they don't care about DRM.
As PlayStation announces that it will end PS3 Store purchases in July 2027, it's important that all of its content is preserved before it's lost forever!
You can help contribute missing metadata to https://t.co/nTMVShvMu7, which is documenting all known PS3 digital content.
since i’ve been emulating more it’s only made it clear that PC is the best way to preserve games. the fact that i can play the original silent hill games despite konami forgetting them means something. i’m glad to have invested more in PC.
@GOGcom True, but:
* the same for most other digital game stores
* access tied to your account
* only while GOG is operational
You can make DRM-free back-ups, which is great, but if you don't do so, you're at the same risk of losing your purchases as everywhere else.
