@saltylungs There are literally studies of keeping people awake and even walking around the ICU on the vent. Clearly not someone who has worked in an ICU (or even walked through one) in the last 10 years

@littlewhitty These are reputable profession for what they do but believing all sorts of lies based on half-truths… unfortunately a lot of the public doesn’t realize this
@littlewhitty Making therapy decisions isn’t actually their wheelhouse.Critically evaluating the evidence isn’t something they have to do for their day to day role. Kinda like the Chiropractor “doctors” all over social media spreading misinformation.
@littlewhitty Huge respect for nurses for what they do. But at the end of the day, they are not trained in the role of critically evaluating the literature for treatment because that’s not their role. Prescribing is the role of the provider
