I post interesting technical facts about Baldi's Basics(Mostly Baldi's Basics Plus)! Ran by @OfficialMTM101
Not one of those "fake facts" gimmick accounts.
Ever wondered about the internals of @mystman12's Baldi's Basics Plus/Classic Remastered?
Or are you just interested in learning about weird game development quirks?
Well this is the account for you! I search around Baldi's Basics' code for any fun, weird, or interesting facts-
In Baldi's Basics Plus 0.14.4, an animation of a blue notebook spinning is in the files. This is currently unused, however, there is a disabled by default animator component on the notebook, when enabled through Unity Explorer it shows the animation.
In 0.14.4, the Grapple Challenge is completely broken, this is due to mystman12 using the "Update" function instead of the "VirtualUpdate" function, thus causing the logic that re-enables the inventory to never run.
@MurZdx Basically, Unity does not support proper inheritance for the Update function, so mystman12 works around this by making a very simple update function that just calls VirtualUpdate
@Floppydisk97@illerify I don't post fake facts, you can download unity explorer and check the notebook prefab itself, you'll see an animator component that if you enable will let you see the animation yourself.
In Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered, the second floor in Party Style is its own level with its own LevelAsset that is loaded on top of the regular scene Notably, its shifted around half a chunk upwards for an unknown reason.

In Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered (and presumably Baldi's Basics Plus, though I haven't checked this), any unused Item Slots are simply stored off screen, including the 6th item slot which was never used, but had a rebindable control in BB+'s controls menu.
