Some sad news coming out of the Sett today as we officially announce that Balham Badgers will no longer be a club for the upcoming season. Injuries, age and people claiming they have other commitments unfortunately mean we can’t reliably put out an 11 week on week any more.

The club would like to give our thanks to everyone at @SouthernSunday who do a terrific job of not just keeping the league going but growing it year on year, in particular @grahamrodber . Without them such a prosperous football pyramid wouldn’t be possible!

Great feeling starting the week as Quarter Finalists. Need to give credit to the ref yesterday who controlled a fiery game very well - even reffing some of the game in Spanish for our South American opponents!

Fresh off the back off their World Cup victory, @ArgentinaFCLdn swapped Qatar for the far lusher pastures of Wandsworth Common. Unlike France though, the Badgers nailed their pens to win 4-1 after coming from 2 goals down. Goals from Jake and Andreas and the cup run continues 🦡
