Now all of sudden the narrative is Joe is compromised in favor of Drake, forgetting the last 2 years the narrative was still he was compromised only it was in favor against Drake. But if you go back even before the Kendrick battle Joe had the same narrative of being compromised in favor of Drake. So what’s really what?
@JANAMiziK@JBTVCommunity They are ridiculous 😂. Also Ish not wrong. Glad to see him stand his ground. Too many POTM moments get made off the back of Ish.
@Micah_W17@WATTBA10 I agree with Joe’s assessment of the situation. That’s Jay Z and in today’s landscape it can cheapen who Jay Z is by engaging in the Internet shenanigans. “Don’t lose it tryna Keep it”
I agree that if Jay-Z is who we say he is, then doing it at the Roots Picnic can come across as punching down.
That said, Jay absolutely has the right to respond to people speaking on him and trying to attach things to his name. At the end of the day, he’s still a rapper, and rappers have always addressed criticism through the music.
I do think there’s a little hypocrisy in some of the reactions, but the main point remains: Jay-Z shouldn’t be expected to stay silent when people are publicly trying to tarnish his reputation.
Joe Budden Podcast Reacts to Jay-Z’s Roots Picnic Freestyle: Joe says he didn’t want to hear Hov diss Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tony Buzbee, and the rest — because his name and allure are too big for that. You ain’t rapped in a while, and the first thing you do is diss these people
“Snowfall” spinoff, “The Drop: A Snowfall Saga,” follows the story of Leon and Wanda as West Coast rap goes mainstream while trying to capitalize on the industry, and will premiere this year on FX, Hulu, and Disney+ 🎬🔥
