This is just the latest example of the Orioles proving they are one of, if not THE worst team in MLB.
A 5-2 lead in the 8th inning. Blown.
A soft grounder to 2nd to end the game. Blown.
Losers lose, it’s that simple. And that’s EXACTLY what the Baltimore Orioles are. Losers.
Pleasant Surprise: Leody Tavares, Brandon Young, Blaze Alexander.
Let down: Entire team, Gunnar, Rogers, Albernaz.
Extend him: Adley.
Send him to the moon: KEEGAN AKIN, for the 6th year in a row. O’Neill. Elias.
This is really interesting for a team that already has Bussi, Anderson, and Kyotchekov. They've needed a reliable goalie for years and as soon as they seem to have one in Bussi, they're looking to move a 1st and a highly touted prospect for a 33 year old with a .895 Sv% this year
I am simply begging the O's to follow in the Giants footsteps and change their orange alt from an orange version of the home jersey to a modern style throwback. It would be so much cleaner and works much better with the orange pants (which I'm not sure that we've worn this year).
In 2025, the Dunedin Blue Jays endured 24 weather delays, 6 cancellations, and 10 postponements.
If you can't beat the weather, wear it.
Introducing the “Rain Delay Jerseys”, honoring the chaos of the Florida State League, debuting on July 18.
3rd and 5th is interesting value, but we have plenty of picks to burn. 16 points in 74 games this year isn’t great, but he’s also a former 1st round pick playing 4th line minutes. Dubas has earned our trust on pickups like this.
The Penguins have acquired forward Hendrix Lapierre from the Washington Capitals in exchange for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick.

@jim_havrilla@masnOrioles I don’t think they made a mistake there. He’s aging and wanted a lot of money. Hasn’t had any success in Toronto. Do wish they would’ve kept Burnes. Elias pitching issues that have dragged the team down for years
Pete Alonso is having a good year, yes. But he’s also playing on possibly the only team in baseball that can compete with the Mets as MLB’s biggest joke.
At least it’s just one bad year for the Mets.
@jim_havrilla@masnOrioles Yeah, in my opinion it’s just all bad. The manager isnt good, the team is a total joke, the GM is the biggest clown in baseball, and the franchise has been slowly dying for decades. OPACY is the only thing keeping the franchise from total irrelevancy and relocation imo
Tonight or tomorrow would be a great day to fire Craig Albernez. Dude should have never been hired. Not the guy. No fire, doesnt have his players backs. Just a clown.
@jim_havrilla@masnOrioles A few good players on roster (who are mostly underperforming) but besides that it’s just a bad baseball team surrounded by hype built by a team full of different players a few years ago.
The runner ended up at 3rd base here. SPECTACULAR watching. Just a complete and utter circus😂😂
Players, management, ownership and everyone in between should hang their heads. What a sad implosion for this franchise.

And now the Angels have walked it off in the 10th inning for a 7-6 win on this play, as Orioles catcher Samuel Basallo tried to field a tapper hit in front of the plate:
