AZ-native Brooklyn Ulrich was not recruited to ASU out of high school. She said she was told she was not good enough to play for the Sun Devils.

The timing of her recruitment means that's when Trisha Ford was running the program.

Four years later, Ulrich sent ASU to Super Regionals with a walk-off grand slam against Texas A&M.
