🎓✨ The #CINEMADN Project hosted an inspiring free course for PhD students and researchers in Lyon! 🌍🤝
📌 Day 1: Dr. Shaghayegh Hamzehlou (POLYMAT) introduced deterministic modeling with hands-on guidance using Predici software.
Thrilled to feature Prof. Alexei Lapkin from @Cambridge_Uni, a leading mind in #CINEMAProject!
Through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie initiative, he’s training PhD candidates to advance AI-driven polymer science for a more sustainable future. 🌍

I have largely stopped posting on here but this paper in @PolymChem is a special one that has taken a long time to prepare - Polymer chemistry informed neural networks (PCINNs) for data-driven modelling of polymerization processes https://t.co/Yik3aRauRt
Exciting News! Registration for #IPCG2025 is now open.
To register please head to: https://t.co/7nVonIFcvV
Early bird registration prices are available until Feb 15, 2025.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
🎉 Introducing Prof. Alexander Mitsos! 🎉
As one of the leaders in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie CINEMA project on AI in polymerization, Prof. Mitsos brings vast expertise in chemical processes, optimization, and systems engineering.
PhD, MIT
Director, RWTH Aachen University
San Sebastián acoge un encuentro con más de 200 investigadores de Ikerbasque. Trabajan en Euskadi, en unos casos, después de un periplo personal lejos de casa y en otros casos, atraídos por los proyectos desarrollados en el País vasco. @Ikerbasque@Uhandrea@Gob_eus
Thrilled to introduce Dr. Yoshi W. Marien, supervisor & training committee member for the EU-funded CINEMA program at @UGent! 🎓
🔬 Expert in #PolymerReactionEngineering, combining classical methods & #MachineLearning to innovate polymer colloids.
With #IPCG2025 just under a year away, we are excited to start introducing invited speakers for the conference next year.
Firstly, Prof. Stefan Bon @bonlab and Dr. Nicholas Ballard @BallardPolymers will both be speaking at #IPCG2025
🚀 Exciting Workshop Alert! 🚀
The CINEMA project, funded by the EU's Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant, is hosting a FREE hands-on workshop on Mathematical Modeling of Polymerization Processes for PhD students! 🧪
🗓️ When: Oct 28-29, 2024
📍 Where: Lyon, France
🌟 Reflecting on a year of growth! 🌟 Our PhD candidates underwent intensive training in chemistry, engineering, math, CS, communication & more.
🚀 Highlights:
Multiobjective Optimization @ UPV/EHU
Applied Numerical Optimization @ RWTH Aachen
IPCG2025 is now only just over a year away and the website with all info is now available at: https://t.co/ny4p8DFmdM
Updates with further information about registration will be available soon.
Please share the link and we look forward to seeing you all there. #IPCG2025
@helen_willcock @PolymChem Hi Helen! It will probably give a reasonable estimate if you put in the methacrylamide part of the monomer only. If the Gd has a big effect it will make things tricky as there is nothing like that in the dataset we used to train (polymer handbook).
