5th Year Drama, Film and Theatre students recently performed for a live audience as part of their ACT assessment. Students were challenged to take one element from a drama production we watched and develop it into an original 10-minute play ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฅ
Students were voted by their teachers to receive Educational Achievement Awards in Trinity College.
It was a hugely enjoyable and a positive night with guest speakers talking about their experiences of the TAP program & consequently college & career opportunities ๐๐ผ
On Friday, we celebrated World Culture Day as part of our final day of Wellbeing Week festivities! It was a wonderful celebration of the different traditions, cultures, outfits, languages, and foods that make our school community so unique and special ๐โจ

Our annual BCS Music Picnic took place during Wellbeing Week. Students took to the stage to showcase their talents with a special guest performance from some of our staff members ๐คโจ
What an incredible Wellbeing Week last week! A packed week full of activities including a petting farm, outdoor lunchtime concert, sports day, hope cycle by staff & students, splash a teacher event for charity, gratitude poster displays, and world culture day ๐๐ถ๐โโ๏ธ๐ด๐ฆ๐
TYโs enjoyed their end of year trip to Carlingford Adventure Center recently for a few days where they tested themselves in the Skypark ziplines, giant trampoline, maze and footgolf. They took to the water in Kayaks, jumped from the pier and played laser tag in the woods ๐ถโณ๏ธ๐ง๐ผโโ๏ธ

As part of the Gaisce Bronze award, students had to do their adventure journey. This year it involved students doing a 32km hike along the Wicklow way. Well done to all the Gaisce students, a lot of tired feet after that one๐ฅพ๐๐

Before Easter, all First Year students were tasked with the annual History project of making or creating a memento of History. This year's First Year's rose to the occasion creating spectacular works of art and informative displays ๐
Our TY students created their very own Easter Camino โ designing Camino passports, mapping their route, and walking from Ballinteer to Rathfarnham.
