It's hard to describe, but so much damage has been done over the 10-15 years I've worked as a professional. It's so much bigger than the gaming industry. It's all industries.

I don't know how to fix it. Too many people who can't work getting degrees that mandate the work.

For gamers, especially ones who don't work in professional environments yet, it is hard to describe how much corruption has occured in corporate America.

Most corporations are bogged down by people who can't really do any jobs but are hired for HR reasons to plfulfil metrics.

10 years ago Lindsay and I were working with Bethesda on a regular basis and traveling to events with them 2-3 times a year. This inside of the studio looked completely different back then, it was loaded with talented professionals and we worked with some of the most respectable people you could imagine. We certainly saw a few eccentric types here and there, but there wasn't a single person who looked like this. These people are straight up cartoons.

There is something to be said about how fast the industry fell to this shit. In less than a decade, these politically rabid shitlibs not only got inside the building, they were able to actively displace enough of the talent to stall/crash practically every major studio in the industry. The fact that these morons were given actual influence in games like Elder Scrolls is infuriating.
